            his new (2005) transitions disc, the dvd one, is fucking immense. i still listen to that on a regular basis.

                                                unfortunately no. i know it was mixed in 5.1 which was groundbreaking altogether, but to hear it in 5.1 would induce war-like reflux. duck goose duck!

                                                        Was just playing Closer to the Edit and Transitions last week. Some of Beyer's sets this year have been rocking as well. Been a long time since I've partied to techno, but we're having Laurent Garnier for NYE

                                                        I also think the techno sound has been stagnating, espeically the Detroit style.
