Best of Sasha

There are literally hundreds, perhaps even thousands of sasha sets floating around spanning over two decades of his career. We should have some sort of poll to determine the best of the best and sticky it here, along with links for their immediate download. Anyone agree? My sasha collection is considerable but still ever day I see links to mixes I'd never even heard of. I'm just looking for a way to narrow them all down.

I think most people are agreed on the best Sasha set. I think though because Sasha & Digweed's sound evolved so quickly you could almost break it down year by year

Strangely i cant think of anything before 96 that really stands out. Its hard to find the more recent stuff as well, as i like most people have to much music to listen to. So these days i tend to listen to something one then move on to the next. the first 4 i listed, i really canned the arse out of back in the day. When i was partying every weekend.

right off the top of my head,

zen afterparty, one of the best dj sets i have ever heard.
the rub tampa also great.

those are the only 2 that come to mind off the top.

i have been listening to his ableton 2005 emix lately in the car, great great mix.

I always loved 1997 JJJ Mixup. The breakdowns just used to go on and on. They would still be breaking down well into next week

right off the top of my head,

zen afterparty, one of the best dj sets i have ever heard.

It's funny how many people I know (incl. myself) love this set to death. Some of the mixes in it almost turn into train-wrecks and technically it doesn't hold a candle to any of the recent stuff a la Maida Vale, where the software is looking after the beat-mixing.

However for track selection and sequencing it is beyond perfect and whoever was at that Afterparty was a damn lucky person because they'll never forget it.

Funny thing them 2 sets naver did anything for me at all. I didnt like anything Sasha was playing in 02 and 03.
