Well am i ever glad to be back on ms as my computer crashed about 2 weeks ago and all my files and music are gone.Dident know how much the computer realy meant to me well glad to be back and missed you all.
yeah man... I have several steps in order to prevent me from losing all my music and other important documents on my pc. I think Im more prepared for a computer crash than an earthquake!!

Thanks gatz for the help i will let you know i have somebody looking at my hard drive to see if i can recover the info that was on there so i will let you know thanks again gatz.
That sucks...I had something similar happen to me about 4 years ago...lost all my music, but more importantly all my pics...including pics of my family that only I had
I learned the hard way how important it is to back everything up on a regular basis as well

Condolences, I lost everything couple of months back too I swear the bigger harddrives get, the more fragile and problematic they become. My old 20GB drive has never crash, I'm still using it!

damn, i'm in the same situation here. just took my pc to the service. the guy starts the comp, and after 5-7sec we see smoke coming from the harddisk... hopefully they replaced it with a new one. but 60% of data is lost. the rest of it is burned on dvds.
I realy regret my ~35gb track collection, very well sorted into folders, that I used to play with it in traktor. all that work...
