        jesus... talk about spam..

if they do get recorded, they would be released... there is really no need to ask or beg for someone to record it.

          Have to work now
          so won't be in LA
          they always seem to hit
the states during a work surge
should be a great run of nights.

So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:

          1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
          2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
          3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
          4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

          Am I close here?

Re: Three Sasha & Digweed shows coming to America

i am a huge sasha and digweed fan and i have to say i was thoroughly disappointed. i mean i went to see them many times - nyc crobar, centrofly, pacha, etc. and i listen to alot of their sets as well, but the party at AC was horrible.

first of all, the vibe just wasnt there. most of the crowd was just there to be trendy and did not know anything about the music or the scene. second of all, the sound system blowed. it was the worst sound system i ever heard, and the music sounded horrible on it. third of all, the venue was extremely small and it wasn't packed (not being packed is a good thing i suppose), but i mean small venue sorta sucked. yes, it was intimate but no confetti, no ill lighting, no disco balls, no nothing. and i think sasha and digweed played to that type of environment. it all sounded like minimal lounge music aside from sasha dropping mongoose, which was badly placed in the set and sort of came out of nowhere.

there was no build or groove to the set. there was no peaktime. it was just dull and minimal the entire time. while i was waiting for sasha and digweed to kick it up a notch. it never really came. then sasha dropped 2 extremely sick encore tracks, and it was like what the fuck. couldnt you have done this like a couple of hours ago? oh yeah, and it really seemed like S&D were sort of shocked to be playing at such a shitty venue. another thing is, maybe new yorkers just know how to party and new jersey doesnt.

i mean, dont get me wrong, i love S&D, and i will definitely give them another chance any day. however, it was just one of those boring ass nights. im used to sasha and digweed parties where the ENTIRE CLUB is up on their feet and can't stop dancing. this night however, was sort of a drift, and people werent really getting into the music either. only like the 30 ppl in the front of the dj booth. did anyone else go ? any other opinions? maybe its just me?

of course the vibe sucked! it was atlantic city & you had to expect that 75% of the people there were only there because it was a club in a hotel in a casino...i mean shit...it's atlantic city! it's the scrappers of all scraps! i had good friends around & roadtrips are always fun so i made the best of it & had a great time..we can't have it all everytime ya know? i guess since i got to hang out with them in the booth changed my outlook on the night so we're definitely not on the same page but i feel your pain on the overall review
