Just got my PC set back up (woohoo! All my music is back!). However the wireless adpator keeps disconnecting off the network. Its not the signal strength as my laptop is connecting just fine and doesn't drop. If I ask it to reconnect it does so.
any sort of wireless security enabled? I used to have that problem when I had an open network, but as soon as I protected it, it became much, much stable...
Its built onboard the motherboard. It is on an open network. I might go about making it secure before the rest of the housemates come back. That'll confuse them.
It seems to be working at the moment, but now and then will drop. Which is well annoying when downloading things. The laptop doesn't do this.
