Blantly stolen from the Bedrock Board:
There has been a lot of talk and gossip about the closure of Bora-Bora about a month ago and it is about time that the record be put straight.
Sadly it is true that Bora-Bora has been forced to close in Ibiza this summer and regrettably forever. As so many of us know who went there over the 7 years and 8 seasons that it was running, it will be very, very sorely missed.
It stood for many things, the majority of which made Ibiza what it was. It was an off the wall party, where dancing on the tables was encouraged and where anything could happen. It is responsible for a lot of special memories.
Over the next few weeks and months it is going to come out in all of the dance music press, although whether the ?real? truth will gradually unfold is uncertain. But whatever you read about it being because the music being too loud or the neighbours were complaining ? do not believe it for a minute. Sadly it is the jealousy of the few big players on the island is to blame.
For all those who are interested, DJ Gee?s comments and thanks can be found on www.boraboraibiza.com
But don?t worry?.. because its not over yet !!!
All we can say is keep your eyes peeled !!
Will be sadly missed.
