    need a MAC audio recording program to record my set this Saturday......

    I will be using my friends MAC to record my set on saturday. What program should I install to record my set ? How is Audacity ??

      I use the recording function in Toast's Disk Doctor.
      Easy as pie.

              audacity +1

              make sure to change the default recording options to STEREO.

                          If one is using Serato and recording with Audacity on the same computer, would running both be a problem?? ie, taking up to much processor speed?

                              I would go with audacity, nice little program that does the job. Like said before donīt forget to change the default options to stereo.

                                      why not just use garageband...it comes with mac's...so it's already there.

                                          Audacity is free. But I hate it's usability (or lack-thereof).

                                          GarageBand should do the job just fine.
