    Art Movies watched recently

    36 Quai des Orfevres (2004) French
    Actors: Gerard Depardieu, Daniel Auteuil
    Theme: 2 policeman with different methods try and stop cash in transit robbers
    Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, had lots of action plus good acting
    8/10

    Jindabyne (2007) Australian
    Actors: Laura Linney, Gabriel Byrne
    Theme: 4 friends go fishing and find a dead body
    Beautiful scenery in movie as well as good story (true story)
    7/10

    Carandiru (2004) Brazilian
    Actors:Ivan de Almeida, Luis Carlos Vasconcelos, Maria Luiza Mendonca, Milton Goncalves, Rodrigo Santoro
    Theme: Story of new doctor who works in the prison to stop AIDS spreading in the overcrowded prison and the lead up to the massacre of 111 inmates by police in 1992. (true story)
    Makes OZ look tame, was long but really enjoyed it
    8/10
