    Wine

Anybody got some real good favorites?

(hey why not, it's good with a nice meal, or if you're in a really posh lounge )

    -Greg Norman Estates Chard., '98
-Greg Norman Estates Cabernet Merlot Coonawarra, '96
-Robert Mondavi Fume Blanc Reserve, '99
    -Hangtime Pinot Noir '00/'01
    -Robert Mondavi Merlot, '99
    -Castellare Chianti, '00

amongst others...alas, the really old stuff is well out of my $$ range

for the cheap stuff, Yellowtail Chardonnay typically does the job

but my favorite (esp. after working in restaurants) is that people who think they have a clue about wine, really have absolutely none whatsoever

(ps I'm not a wine snob either by any means, but at least I have half a clue)

      Re: Wine

Are you into Reds or Whites?

Do you like Sweet, Mild, Semi-Dry or Dry wines?

      Fruity, Oaky, Buttery,Tangy?

Sometimes buying a good bottle that ranges from 10-20 dollars is worth it when it comes to wine apreciation. When im in the mood for an intimate dinner with my partner, that is of course when im making dinner, i select something that counter-balances the dish and at the same time makes all those flavors wanna burst from the palade when your combining such flavors.

Some Rieslings from Germany are very good. sweet n tangy, some have too much of a Tart after taste, making your mouth watery and also have a low alcohol %.

I'm not a big wine person. But when I drink it, I prefer whites.

Beer or a mixed drink for me please!

                          I prefer white wines.

There are good ones on the north of Argentina, mostly Mendoza and San Juan

heard good comments from Chile's wines as well

Well, now in Spain know about wine is a fashion, I made wine, but I don?t sell it just for the family , and a lot of people don?t know nothing about this, I?ve been making wine 4 years ago and I?m steel learning, but I tell you a thing the good wine is the one you LIKE IT,and not the one is cualifite good.
