Delerium - silence (original fade sanctuary mix)

Best track ever, no discussion possible

Just listened to northern exposure expeditions again, and the moment this mix fades into this track I almost cry it out in tears, this is sooooooo good

sorry but to me this track sounds very dated now and only the vocal holds it together.

i know i'll cussed for this but i actually prefer the tiesto mix - still beats most of the crap trance you get around these days

I have to say - I know where your coming from - I like the fade mix - but I think there is so much power and energy in the vocal that the tiesto mix tapped more successfully. The fade mix doesn't really so the vocals justice imo - still a good track though. Absolutely hated that radio mix that was done - (can't remember the name of the trance monkeys involved, but it had the cheesiest arpegio known to man in it - pure stilton!)

I still love that track, fade's mix is rocking. I will tell you it was a long time ago but i heard a progressive breaks remix of that years ago. Would so love to have it but it never came out. This mix got turned down on the first pressing but was great. have no idea why the turned it down. Good luck if you find it lol

.... Yeah I'm guessing you have the 3x12" release instead of the 2xCD release...?

it's still a classic track that everyone knows...as long as you don't re-play it out it has it's place...

Tiesto's mix of course made it an anthem.

But, it's getting some re-love by Above & Beyond and (eventually down the road) Gabriel & Dresden.
