Is Vista Ultimate true single user login?

I have setup my PC connected to my TV to place MCE but I have a second user setup so I can login via RDC to do stuff on the PC like install files, download stuff etc. etc.

But when I try and open an RDC connection, after I login, vista gives me the error that there is already someone logged in and my session will end up disconnecting theirs. Is there a way to permit dual logins?

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

Got it fixed

The following these steps WILL MODIFY SYSTEM FILES, so proceed at your own risk. If you break anything, just ask for help in our forums though ;-) But this is 100%, absolutely NOT SUPPORTED BY MICROSOFT. So seriously, proceed at your own risk.

2/27 EDIT: Now with instructions for getting this to work in Vista HOME PREMIUM!!!!! Click read more to see the steps.

Ok, so let's get on to the steps:

Download Sunmorgus' (from TheGreenbutton.com) hacked Termsrv.dll file HERE (If you're using Vista HOME PREMIUM, use this link and follow the reg instructions below.)
1. Now, Vista's security needs a little massaging to allow you to modify the original termsrv.dll file, found in C:\Windows\System32, so....
2. Click Start, then type "cmd" in the search box & hit enter. This will launch the Command prompt
3. Type the following & hit enter: takeown /f C:\Windows\System32\termsrv.dll
4. Then type this & hit enter (NOTE: Replace USERNAME with YOUR USERNAME!! If your name has a space in it, enclose it with quotes, like "Mike Garcen"): cacls C:\Windows\System32\termsrv.dll /G USERNAME:F
5. Then go to your Windows Explorer, and go to C:\Windows\System32
6. Rename the original termsrv.dll to something else, like "termsrv.dll.ORIGINAL", just in case
7. *NOTE* If you are unable to do the above, try rebooting into SAFE MODE
8. Then copy & paste the Hacked DLL you downloaded in Step 1 into the C:\Windows\System32 folder
9. And voila!

If you need the file, here it is (just rename extension to .dll)

maybe try this
Find the true last logon time for every user and computer account. Clean up your Active Directory by easily identifying unused or obsolete user and computer accounts by identifying their true last logon time and account status. Find the true last logon time for every user and computer account. Clean up your Active Directory by easily identifying unused or obsolete user and computer accounts by identifying their true last logon time and account status.
The true last logon time can be a problem for system administrators as different times are stored on each domain controller. True Last Logon queries all Active Directory Domain Controllers to gain the true last logon time.
The easy to use interface also shows the account expiry date and time, whether or not the account is locked out and whether or not the account is currently enabled or disabled. Old or redundant accounts can be disabled or deleted from within the program, or you can choose to print or save the results to a CSV or tab delimited text file.

Boy these guys are awesome. No more running all that stuff manually. I just found a script that will auto-install everything for you. All you need to know how to do is "double-click". I found this one for Vista only. 32 and 64 bit versions. Both running SP1.
