So its now good and working in Germany too, I'm so confused by this whole thing, but damn glad the guy is standing up strong! More power to him for doing this, apparently this ruling could possibly affect youtube and myspace too, and not to mention every other link site on the web today. We need to support this guy for standing up for international rights of music links published on the web.

this is certain, there will always be a way for us to get our music.

that being said, rapidshare already blocks/deletes copyrighted sets, so GEMA is like the RIAA, stupid & totally without merit.

No they don't. I have a mate that has a ton shared that haven't been removed.

BTW, there was not court order... RS was down because of a server overload. The court order was a rumor that quickly flew around the interwebz.

Only a rumor, then what is the data on the link Lector provided on the top of this thread. Seems factual to me. Why would someone go to so much trouble to make a hoax of this issue.

Also, rapidshare has rulez about copyrighted material. Delete it or not, I don't know, but its not suppose to be there, CD copies, etc. The material I grab from there is not copyrighted. Someone link me a copyrighted CD, I'd like to grab it.
