I work in commercial real estate and a friend of mine develops boutique hotels similar to this one in Sweden here in the US. However, I thought the idea of hiring The Field to create an EP for the opening was genius. Ever since I first heard From Here We Go Sublime I've been really loving their music. My EDM friends and I all agree that this is one of the few djs that are truly moving the genre forward.

Sound of Light – The Field
What does light sound like?
This question inspired our musical concept called “Sound of Light”. However, the idea of creating music inspired by light was only the starting point for the project. The goal was to portray our entire hotel through music but our main idea was simply to produce a far out record that made great listening.
To realize this ambition we decided to invite recording artistes to interpret our hotel experience and express it by making a record. One record for each artiste, to give them the space they need to fully develop their interpretation.
The first performer to contribute to “Sound of Light” is Axel Willner, better known as “The Field”. The impressions he went away with after his stay with us formed the basis of his interpretation. The record is divided into four different pieces – morning, day, evening and night – so as to portray all the various moods of the light and the hotel.
One record is now completed but for “Sound of Light” this is only the beginning.
