I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

Linux is making amazing headway. Find it odd that the video states the requirements to be 1ghz cpu, 128mb ram, and 4ghz hdd ... the 128mb ram is not very proportionate to the rest of the spec. 128mb ram looks more suited to a, I dunno, 750mhz cpu and 1gb hdd.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

linux doesn't require as much memory as windows, that's well known by now

You're going with the logic that increasing ghz speeds also mean increasing memory capacity? How odd.

Yeah I know it's an odd way of looking at it Not that there's anything odd with a 128mb memory requirement, just pointing out that usually a system with specs like 1ghz and 4gb hdd will have more (stock) memory and it's funny to see such specs and only 128mb of ram Besides, a nix system generally runs on even lesser cpu speeds and hdd space.

dont know about compatability but since there is no real "install", I would just go ahead and give it a go and test it out. Ubuntu's doing pretty good for itself, I mean Dell sells PCs with Ubuntu pre-installed on them so they should have decent hardware support.
