    I think, Cheney will be able to use his vast experience to command the debate. He will speak where President Bush failed to in the presenditial debate. Edwards will be less authoritative and seem to eager and inexperienced next to Cheney. In terms of that, Edwards has the weaker position at defending Kerry's multi-sided position on issues and Cheney will definitely put Edwards on the defensive. IMHO.

      "Let us not forget" Cheney gets talking about his Republican viewpoints and then says things like America will be attacked again, and then has to 'clarify' his remarks in a press conference later.
