    New Portishead album, finally!

    From their website:

    23 Jan 2008
    We're pleased to announce that we'll be releasing our album, titled THIRD. on April 14th 2008.
    The album has 11 tracks and is 49 minutes 13 seconds long.

          I've actually never been a follower of Portishead, but something tells me after this year's Coachella Music Festival that will change!

          Sasha & Digweed, The Field, My Morning Jacket, Sandra Collins, James Zabiela, Krafterwerk, this years lineup is indeed promising!

                  Iv only listened to the set someone posted up a couple of weeks ago but found it quite enjoyable so am looking forward to this.

                      i've got their roseland nyc cd and also the dvd. you should get the dvd if you really like that album as it also has a couple of music videos on it, plus you get to see them actually performing which is cool.

                      looking forward to some new music finally from them.

                            I'm guessin for the same reason Jack Johnson's headlining. I suspect via the marketing and research dept at goldenvoice, they know that these two will reach a large handful of potential customers with the $$$ to go just because of Jack Johnson or Dwight Yoke, you know what I'm trying to say...
