    2x Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3 + 1x Pioneer DJM-800

Hi guys I need some help.
I know that perhaps this should be in the DJ section but the matter is quite urgent!!!

I ran into this add for:
    2x Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3 + 1x Pioneer DJM-800
The guy says that one deck and the mixer are in pristine condition but that the other cdj has problems with the digital I/O and that he has the spare in a box unpacked.
I was wondering if anyone knew how serious this problem is and how much would this second hand set of equipment be worth.

    THANK YOU

In/Out.....Meaning that the connection to and from the cdj is bad...Thats my guess....Not a good thing.

Yeah I know what it means....but he says he has the spare part...
Do you know what the second hand value of this should be???

Then you need to ask, if these items are in such good shape for a person to buy, why does he want to get rid of them..That's when he lies and says that he just doesn't need them anymore...Buy everything except the shitty one...Why would you want to buy someone elses problem?? Ya know?

It sounds like it would be relatively easy to fix. These things can be quite easily repaired by anyone.

He already said in the ad that he's on older guy who wanted to get back into DJ-ing so bought himself some decks....he then came into some money problems and decided that he couldn't really afford to be fucking around and wasting money on his "hobby".

Anyway he hasn't replied to my e-mail yet so I think he either sold them already or changed his mind...

that's nothing...don't confuse that with the RCA outputs (red/white) which are analog...the digital output is entirely separate and many don't even utilize it unless you have the mixer that supports such (in this case the 800).

Even so, fixing it is pretty easy...sounds like the connector may just be loose or busted; any shop can do it for a few minutes' worth of labor or minimum charge.

you're buying someone else's problem chief. don't do it.

connections can be fixed, changed, etc, sure- not worth the hassle imo, unless you're stealing this stuff.

                plus, i hate the djm800.
