Yeah Ecstacy isn't MDMA. Ecstacy is just the street name for a drug that used to be made up of mostly MDMA but has always had binders and other shit in it. I didn't know you need that much meth for it to work though.

absolutely wrong. and who cares if there are binders? binders are in most drugs in pill form, from ecstasy to asprin. they're inert, and have no medical effect.

trust me, i've done hundreds of hours of research on this, taken courses at the university level, and worked in harm reduction since 2000. ecstasy has always been mdma, unless you're getting bunk pills. most pills tested turn out to be just mdma + binder. buy a testing kit and you won't have to worry. check out dancesafe.org to buy one...

Some are shit some are great?
and some are just strange?
Mdma as far as I know doesn't keep you awake and give you cramps and muscle spasms....

Mdma as far as I know doesn't keep you awake and give you cramps and muscle spasms....

varying dosages in different pills (ie. a pill that has 70mg mdma is gonna feel different than one that has 125 mg). and yes, mdma can have 'speedy' effects. jaw clenching, muscle spasms, insomnia, etc. this occurs especially in higher doses.

there is also definitely an element of placebo effect. what someone tells you about them before you take them can have a profound impact on how you perceive the experience.

I have no placebo effect as I have never been told by anyone anything about any ex that I have ever popped and I rarely if ever vary my dosage. Nevertheless I have found that almost each one has a different effect to the previous one...therefore I have to conclude that it is the contents of the E that is different in each case.

I have no placebo effect as I have never been told by anyone anything about any ex that I have ever popped and I rarely if ever vary my dosage. Nevertheless I have found that almost each one has a different effect to the previous one...therefore I have to conclude that it is the contents of the E that is different in each case.

of course you vary your dosage...you have no idea how much MDMA is in a pill.

Green, triangular pills sold as ecstasy in the USA have been found to contain the substance DXM. There are reports that these pills are now also being sold in the UK.
DXM (Dextromethorphan) is commonly found in certain over-the-counter cough medicines and at low doses it produces effects quite similar to alcohol. However, at high doses it is a dissasociative, like ketamine. It is not generally used as a dance drug as the changes of consciousness it produces are best experienced in a quiet, safe place, such as at home.
DXM raises body temperature and it also inhibits sweating. This can make it a potentially dangerous substance to take in a hot environment, and the risks are increased if it is mixed with ecstasy, which also raises your body temperature. The two drugs are metabolised through the same liver enzyme, and so using them together places extra strain on your liver.

of course there is stuff floating around out there thats fake. you know how many pills are produced world wide in a year?! i said *most* pills are just mdma + binder. there is a % that are either fake, or contain something else like dxm. again...buy a testing kit and you won't have to wonder.

Day for Night is spot on. I actually test with the 4 part kit. I've found that MDMA has a speedy effect which many often assume is meth. Pillreports.com has many user reviews and also people that test. Not sure why everyone assumes it must be speed. MDA, at least for me has more of a sedative effect, I feel good but don't have the energy like MDMA. Unfortunately thats all I ever see around here (MDA).
