gus is so overprotective of himself haha, can't believe he figured there might be sth wrong... why didn't he leave someone with his car in the first place? that's what i would have expected him to do. anyhow, do you expect white and jessi to team up again? plus, white doesn't even seem to consider lifting the curtain by going to the police. he might save his and his family's lives at least... |
I thought that scene in the carpark was a bit far fetched seeing as there's nothing to tip off Gus. I'm wondering if it was really Gus who tried to poison the kid. The way Walt deduced the scheme, it would indeed be brilliant if it was Gus who manipulated Jesse into killing Walt. BUT the way Walt piece it together and the way it was revealed to us seemed too easy, and it doesn't fit with the writing in the show. The show never reveals a plot to the audience that easily. I wouldn't be surprised if it was in fact Walt who managed to poison the kid and that was his ploy to get Jesse on his side: He's been wanting Jesse to kill Gus all this while but Jesse has been dragging his feet. When Jesse heads for the door to kill Gus, and Walt says he'll help him is too neat. Finally Jesse has the prime motivation to kill Gus and Walt's motivation becomes secondary, which is how Walt would've schemed it to get Jesse on his side. |
right when watching i was already wondering if it was really gus. it is a real risky plan since jesse and walt have had other similar situations where walt figured it out (right now i dont remember the exact scenario). plus once jesse comes out of walt's house without having killed him (gus knows that of course, there is always someone observing jesse), gus would know that walt and jesse probably talked and figured it out... but then again i dont rly believe walt is capable of doing sth like that. even though his moral tolerance is widening more and more. plus, when did he actually take the cigarette? in that fight in front of jesse's door after which he was tasered? i dunno.. then again, saul tries to get out of the whole situation, which is quite sudden. i dont see the line of causality why he just now tries to disappear. on the other hand, why would saul stab into jesse's back? i think it might be possible the kid has taken the cigarette himself. that was my initial thought. |
