Yeah the set was Fake but he definitely played there on that date. Just like the 2 Fabric sets, the La Dune set and the China set. Digweed played on all them dates at them venues. I've got a suspicion all these sets where made by the same person and not JD
I recently moved to Dubai, and there's lots of shows mainly mainstream Dj's (tiesto, Armin...etc..) not much good house dj's, its good to go enjoy the music but the crowd kinda kills it, people arent interacting together, and its more of a fashion show, where most are trying to show off,,the whole scene thing is money oriented more than arranging a good show for the crowd,,I miss the states, Good times...most times...
Hay man....i share the same thing with you ...their is very few genuine ppl over there, esp in the clubbing scene...most of them are money loaded wankers or money hungry hors !! sad but true.
I am there every other week for work get to see couple of good DJ ( Chus & Chebalos) the other week was Funfuckintastic....one of the best night I've been 2 in long time, but again the crowd is bollox. since i just look for good nites good dj and i have couple of decent mates over their to party with.
What i hate when i am in dubai that ppl checkin you out when u r out clubbin or drinking .......what designer cloth you wearing what car you driving....SOD OFF you CUNTs ...I take a taxi
If you look at some of those plans they have laid out...They are on a GIGANTIC scale...i just want to know, who all is going to go there on vacation? From what countries? Sounds like another European Disney in the making.

^^^ funny you say that, i saw in the papre plans for a fucking island shaped like shamu for a sea world and a busch gardens.. i know i can think of many different places i wold go to visit before i ever thought of going there, even if money was no option
I have a muslim friend that thinks that place is like the holy city. He says teh clubs/women/etc are out of control, I was like check yourself before you wreck yourself buddy cause I know quite a few ppl that go clubbing that hate the place. This thread confirms that. I hope you move back soon .

you think so ...the country is fully booked, you can hardly find a hotel room from Nov up till March ...it's crazy, last week i was there went out with friend to have dinner in place called madinat Jumerah ...full of restornas and shit and guess what on monday we could not find one table ...asked in 6 places and waitin time was min of 1 hr ...loads of ppl from all over r going there for work, buisness or holiday.

No it's not conservative @ all, women dress what they like actually they show more flesh than in i seen in Europe, you have to keep in consideration that the total population of UAE is 5M, 20% of the mare locals and the rest is expatriates (europ, Ozy, USA) + the workers ( mostly Indians & Bangladesh + some othe counties in Asia)
I have to say that most of girls in dubai fuckin fit, you go to the mall and it's like walkin in fashion show !! the problem with clubbin there that ppl involved have 2 much money and they are showing off all the time.
If you imprison DJ's your EDM scene is likely to suffer.
