I hope you get a really good price for it. Looks like it's in mint condition. -

yeah me either...you'd need a whole book to learn the weird stuff going on in that mixer.
i wonder if honestly someone from A&H might have been the ones to steal that mixer. to reverse engineer what Hawtins dad did to it. So they could sell the ideas.Comment

Re: selling: Xone 62 in very good condition
sounds like a realistic conspiracy theory to me...
I'm happy enough trying to learn what they've added to the 92. All i need now is a good external fx unit, and i'll have pretty much all the functionality a dj could ask for.Comment

yeah it is too bad they don't have a delay sampler in that thing. It would make it Oh so much cooler.Comment

midi control of certain things (still not toally familiar with this, but its not as good as something like sasha's raven midi controler)...remotely control external fx, sequencers, drum machines, even lighting controllers. Most computer MIDI sequencers such as Ableton, Logic, and even Reason can be easily mapped to receive input from the XONE:92.
one of my favorite things is the ability to press a switch and have the cue change from pre-eq (ala the 62) to post eq (ala any of the pioneer mixers). this lets you pick whats comfortable for you in terms of what you hear in the headphones.
the sound quality is *definitely* better than the 62, and overall i like using it more. its a qualitative thing, and hard to put a finger on it, but its just better.
here is a pretty good review that does compare the 92 to the 62 in some regards: http://remixmag.com/mag/remix_allen_heath_xone/Comment

I think I might just purchase the pioneer efx processor instead.
Thanks man.Comment

you can't really 'use' the pre-eq, cause its the only option on the 62 in terms of cueing. all it means is you hear the song that you are mixing in as if the eq's were set to zero. thats the default on the 62, and you can't change it.
with the 92, you have the option of making the cue work like a pioneer mixer...post-eq. meaning what you hear in the headphone reflects how you have the eq's set. if the eq's are all the way to the left (completely killed) then you will hardly hear the track in the headphones at all. as you bring up each of the eq's, you will start to hear the track more and more in the headphones.
this lets guys who are used to that play on this mixer, and guys like us (who are used to pre-eq mixing) play as well. great if you're going to be alternating through the evening.Comment

Re: selling: Xone 62 in very good condition
i had heard that the 62 doesn't do split cue mixing either. And I never liked the facade of the mixer. I like lots of lights on my mixers. And the 92 would lite up a room when turned on.Comment

Re: selling: Xone 62 in very good condition
Screw the people who can't do it imo. i like that i don't hear the post eq in my headphones.
my biggest gripe with my 62 is the short level meters on each channel. weak.Comment
