nice links and some sick shit Although the graphic in/on the cloak still need some perfecting to do... Let's just keep our fingers crossed, that none of these come in the hands of any "bad" guys.

            it's not that amazing

those movies are just a guy in a cloak having a projector display a background movie over him. the projector is first aimed at a mirror which bounces off the image onto the cloak. the material is special as it is the only thing that will reflect the light. that's what is clever about it.

Yeah the potential for this invention is huge, most especially in the covert arena

But i think it's great to see the stuff you've seen in movies as a kid come to life

Word. That's the main thing I thought when I posted it. The article mentions the dude using the same material to make "invisible" walls and floors, and that's what I think will become real interesting. Like the example they used, invisible floors in airplane cockpits.

Awesome read, and cool videos. Thanks.

It is pretty cool, but as Hos said, its not the most amazing thing in the world. Still awesome, and a first step to complete invisibility.

Real or not you have to give it to the guy for coming up with that. I think it is real. I want to buy one. When do they go on sale?
