    Study Music

i know many of you have been through school, or are in school right now. I have a few sets that i listen to while i'm studying. But, i was curious if any of you had any particular favourites that set you into the studying groove? I'm kinda looking for recommendations, but I wouldn't be suprised if other people here were as well.
you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

        Re: Study Music

I don't just listen to one or two favorite things...as a full-time grad student, studying is pretty much my daily job, so I need a constant supply of tunes. I have multiple gigs of stuff on my laptop and my ipod which I regularly update. I can always find something to suit my mood...and it's usually electronic stuff.

            Re: Study Music

Me? i listen to the proton radio mixes i did a few years ago, some of the Darker Shades stuff. Ulrich Schnauss, Terry Lee. The chilled side of house music.

i listen to this site a lot. Particularly the Airplane one and the Restraunt one.

For one reason or another, i must have music. I can't study when it's silent. I've never been able to figure out why.

I'm listening to James Lauer's live mix from Bulgaria. good stuff.

Minimal stuff like Hawtin's DE9, Northern Exposure ... and chill stuff. Need the right pace and groove, without the music getting into my head too much or driving me to nuts in the chair and hands in the air.
Minimal stuff is great, really gets me into the zone.
