^ we'll see what makes it on to the cd.

dunno if i'm gonna buy this.

still not convinced by another warren cd. his first was great, but they've been getting less and less memorable for me.

his mash up is pretty cool, but nothing new. i think that sums up his run on GU aswell!!

Amazing night Nick!!! and thanks again for played 'Panoptic - Surface'

The venue was a huge tent in a footbal stadium, the opener for Nick is our best dj Rodrigo Lozano he started with deep minimal for the first hour, around 1am the dancefloor was packed and Rodrigo dropped Westworld (Medieval funk) great tune!!!

Nick took over the decks around 2.20am was a blend of progressive, techno and breaks, towards the end he dropped an amazing vocal breaks, maybe new WOW production, here's some of the tracks...

The Whip - Blackout (Ashely Beedle remix)

he's been playing that for ages.

interestingly he played Push - Universal Nation. That's so trance. I"m suprised people will look at Nick the same way after playing that record.

If the GU cd is anything like the last three Warren sets posted in the past six months, it should be stellar, but it seems a few of those tracks could run into some licensing issues, either way
Nick always plays a great mix with so much Dj'ing experience
and being half of WOW never hurts, what we need is Nick and Jody touring together, now that would rock the f'n casbah.

All in all...I think I will be going back there some time soon

So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:

                          1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
                          2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
                          3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
                          4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

                          Am I close here?

I'm always pleased to see new stuff from Warren. But probably he should consider starting his own series ... because GU is making themselves ridiculous by selecting the same DJ again and again.

My suggestion: Global underground - Brussels - Pole folder

Yeah if GU gave Warren his own series there wouldn't be anyone doing their main brand. What they should of done is not bothered with all these separate series. Leaving the Nubreed out of it (This was a great series), The 24/7 & Lights Out series would of been just as successful if they had been branded as the main series. What i find funny John Digweed 6 Cd's for Renaissance and 4 of them in the last 3 years. But nobody's moaning about yet another Transitions. If you look in the last 20 years John Digweed has probably done twice the amount of mix Cd's that Nick Warren has done. And yes hes released them on Bedrock, GU, Renaissance, Fabric and countless others. But would it of made any difference on what label they where released on. Most of these labels are basically just releasing a snapshot of what the DJ is playing at the time. The only real difference is the packaging.
