    imdb problem?

    ok, so i haven't been able to get on this site for over a week now. i yahoo searched it to see if the address had changed and when i click on it from there it still brings me to a dead page. meanwhile everyone i have asked to check for me is able to get on. i never put any kind of block on this site or anything like that.

    any suggestions?

      did you tried with firefox or IE?...
      does your ISP thinks its a porn site and block it?...
      trace it or ping it

                      open CMD or that black screen msdos, anyway open it and put

                      ping www.mercuryserver.com

                      and check the time and the TTL stuff

                          without doing anything i was able to get on the site about an hour ago.
                          just tried again and it brings me to the 'problem loading page' page again.

                              I assume this resolved, but for future reference, if my ISP's dns is slow on the uptake - I use these UUNET dns':

                              198.6.1.4
                              198.6.1.5

                              They aren't close-by, but they are always up to date.
