    Digweed in Bangkok

    it was a 3 1/2hours set and it was nothing i have ever heard before .. perfect build up to a dark and hard prog set in the end ... he would have gone on for much longer if Thailand didnt have the curfew for clubs to close at 2 ... and he already had an extended set till 2.30 .... pics and videos on sunday when im back home on my pc since my ibook doesnt seem to respond to the Canon A530 that i'm using

    definately the best set i've ever heard ... no matter how good the warehouse project EM or hernan's EM last week they could never beat this

      Yup. As good as hearing his mixes outside are a club are, you have to be there to fully appreciate Digweed. Truly takes you to another level. Nothing like it.

          This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

              Nice report
              always seems he hits his stride around
              the three hour mark and unfortunately
              it seems a whole lot of clubs decide to close down
              that illusive 5+ hr set makes you a Digweed junkie for life.

                  i cant imagine what kind of monster of a set last nite would turn out to be if he played that illusive 5+hr set but from what it was last nite it sure is heading that direction ..t.. really a pity that he had to stop at 230 ...

                  he hit his stride around the 1 1/2hr mark last nite after a really nice 30-45mins build at the start

                      Agreed. Strap in for Vortex around the 3hr mark. Anything before is just cock tease.

                      But it sounds like Digweed took the time limit into consideration and bumped it up. The dark hard prog bit sounds great, but must've left people hanging on the floor

                      Would've gone if the club closed later.

                              yep, 3 hours is his standard warmup period. anything beyond that in abundance is absurdity in it's finest form. sad that you couldn't experience the proper 'vortex'

                                      Bus? Wasn't that the Pawnshop set from last yr's WMC? Vaguely remember picture. Reminded me of one of those mobile stalls that sell kebabs for supper

                                          thats called pawnshop. he played in the cab of a big Semi Truck (the kind that drives an 18-wheeler) it looked crazy.....
