i've known about them for a while. not really into them though. I'd rather have the Lemur controller he uses. the nice thing about them is you can buy a kit and build your own Monome.

People have been freaking out over them for a while now. For the money I rather just build my own and get rid of that wood case. You can do some really cool things with it though as you can see by the video's on the site.

if you go and check out MAX/MSP's site they have plenty of things for utilizing this box. Also a nice interview with the duo that introduced the world to these.
