Re the caucus returns, when I woke up Wednesday morning and checked, something like 38% of precincts had reported. Today, on Friday, only 41% have reported. What in the world could be taking so long? It's not like they're counting ballots -- it's a caucus FFS.
from what i understood they were not "required" to report until today, so official results wouldn't come out until the weekend.
nice one texas.
man, what a mess the democratic party is right now. in what should be just a formality in just handing the white house over to the Dems in 08 after 8 years of GW's nonsense, i keep telling myself- "If anyone can fuck this up, it's the Democrats."
don't forget Florida & Michigan working on that "do-over" primary since...yes...the DNC stripped them of those delegates when they moved up the original primaries. And if a mail-in is done, yes, the DNC will have to pay for it. 313 delegates right now is nothing to sneeze at considering the race results.
Can we also have a "do-over" for president while we're at it?
