4 out of 5 stars.
Scarlett Johanson rocks the screen yet again, she was absolutely fantastic The subtleties of her acting skills, her ability to craft just the right facial expression, truly rise to the surface in her performance.
Eric Bana was also a pleasant suprise. Natalie Portman is good, but over the top at times.
Its a very good film all around, but if you are short on change, its one that can easily wait til the release on DVD as there are no elements that demand it be seen on the big screen....except for Scarlett's cleavage.
The one thing that really stuck out at me were the costumes. I assume they were recreated accurately and I can now finally understand why people dressed this way. You see it in paintings of the period and you are tempted to scoff when the men are where these massively puffy sleeves, but when you see it on the screen, in motion, it all makes perfect sense.
