DJing Help with software... Torq Vs. Serrato Vs. Traktor

Im planning on buying one of these software/interface for home use. I know this topics has been discussed but with no real useful outcome. What are your experiences or recommendations... Or is there a new software coming out soon worth waiting for??
    Thanks.

the new version of traktor scratch live is leading the pack, and this really isn't debatable from a technological standpoint.
serato is a very close second. the version they're working on now is supposed to be up to par with the current version of traktor scratch live. serato and native instruments will go back and forth like this for years. truth is, you can't go wrong with either.

    torq. wouldn't mess with it.

Jenks is spot on. I use TS myself, switching from Torq, and I am quite happy with it. Torq was a piece of shit, and the support for it was even worse... little to no feedback from the developer's themselves, long time in between updates (which barely fixed or improved much), just generally a shitty experience. TS on the other hand has been hassle free and fun.

Excellent Thank you guys I was actually debating between SSL and TS I figured torq wasn't good and is cheap looking too. Then I will go for TS. Thanks again.

Anyone know if I can use a different audio interface from the ones that come with the software to link up with my 1200s? (Specifically a Presonus Firebox)

            ^ Nevermind

I found out that the Audio DJ8 is required for vinyl emulation

Oh well, I went ahead and bought the package anyways. I can't wait to use my 1200s again, haven't touched them in ages!

                    Thanks Jenks.

Has anyone decided to upgrade to Traktor 3 from the LE? Seems to be a pretty cheap upgrade if you order through a reseller. Around $90 or so last I checked.

i just got TS in the mail today.

I've been having a blast with it for several hours now and I'm already starting to realize that it's going to change my media of choice when mixing! It was so easy to set up and use right out of the box.

I only have my CDJ 400s with me right now...which it works great with! BUT I can't wait to use them with my 1200s

However, it looks like Traktor 3 offers quite a list of new features that compliment TS nicely (including 4 deck capabilities). It would have been nice to get a free upgrade to that instead of having to spend an extra $119 to be able to access those new features and use 4 decks at once.
