Hi guys and gals just thought i would share this with everyone. Not sure if u guys know bout it, if not and want to organize and clean up your mp3's this is gonna make it fucken easy with the help of discogs ..So here goes. As some of u may know that i have been trying to organize it all and i thought to myself would it not be good to have something to from discogs where it can read and transfer the details straight away with minimum cut and paste.. And i found it.. i only just started using it like an hour ago and it works a treat.
The program gives u pretty much all the details from discogs and u have to do very little cutting and pasting. It gives u the title, artist, label, year, plus more. There is one down side though which is very small. what happened was i have 2 Jamie Jones tracks in a folder and when i did a search it was for some reason not picking up Jamie Jones in the search. So i typed his name in discogs manually and it came up with Jamie Jones (2).. so there maybe sometimes where u have to do it that way. so far i am very impressed with it.
I have organized 50 tracks cleaned them up not only the actually id tags but also the shit that comes when u download from beatport. for example 4645738static.. I use MP3tagtools to make sure all the letters are capital etc at the start and also the same program to export to Excel. And i am using this program to get the info direct to the ID tags, and i have done this in no time.. Anyway enough of me. Enjoy.. Oh and i hope u guys have not heard of this program or use it cause i am very happy to find it to help me organize the CHOONS
There is also a forum for it here
