ok, yup, verified, i still hate people in general
stupid questions this year. with common sense answers.
1. why is my refund so much less than last year ?
umm... lets see... you took off 3 months for disability, and therefore, paid 3 months less in taxes. you can only get back what you pay in.
2. i asked that guy over there what time his appointment was and he said 9, im booked at 9, what are you guys doing?
we have 3 accountants here, and 2 per hour per accountant, it isnt our fault everyone wants to see jim only tonight.
3. (lady in tears) why hasnt my husband received his refund yet?, our kitchen is in peices and we were counting on this money to finish it.
ok, first off, we efiled him, in feb, and then you wanted to be added to the return with the 3rd child (they filed married separate originally), so we did, then 4 hours later, after we "re-efiled" you, you asked to be reverted back to two returns. also, you shouldnt have over extended your spending, especially considering today's market.
4. what do you mean i owe 28000 to the IRS? ? ? ? ?
634K in income, 22 in taxes. 64 IQ. what did you honestly expect ?
5. i bought a car, can i write it off? i use it to go to work.
do not pass go, do not collect 100 dollars
6. can i claim my parents ?
no they are dead.
7. why cant you do my return now? i booked the apopintment?
becasue you are a day trader, and have over 7000 trades, we must document every single one. we can start now, but you wont be done for 4 days. EXTENSION
