      i have m audio BX8 and they're not expensive and sounds great.
      after 2 years with them no complain.

        my good friend had the M-audio speakers for a long time, one day we went into his studio and the one monitor was putting out the serious hum, since then we have all been KRK guys. Though he still has his m-audio 8" sub, and the thing sounds great.

          KRK VXT6's is a very VERY nice option as well money wise.. I'd prefer them over the Rokit 8s
