Would like to see if anyone can make some recommendations on studio monitors. I just recently bought the korg zero4 and wanna start making some tracks in ableton with it. Im looking for active monitors somewhere around $600 for a pair. I'll also be using them for dj'ing too. thanks

Re: Recommendations for Studio Monitors
those are more like $600 each. and right now you probably don't have much more for a studio, so you can use that money toward a nice soundcard...which is integral to a good studio.Comment

Re: Recommendations for Studio Monitors
I was looking at just using the firewire/asio soundcard thats in the mixer itself. i think im definitly gonna go with the KRK's. i did read some reviews about them. everyone raved about them but also did recommend getting the sub for them...my set up is gonna look like a bumble bee..black and yellow monitors and a black and white mixer..I Love LampComment

Re: Recommendations for Studio Monitors
yeah they look kinda strange, but i think they do it just to stand out from the crowd.
I wouldn't know how good the soundcard in the korg is, but you will find out soon enough.Comment

the v8's are the more expensive ones. You should know that Shawn. To me, the Rokits are just wonderful for what I want. I just gotta get my sub working.Comment
