    When you see Laurent Garnier live you´ll....

    ..shit bricks!

    First of all I´m so thankfull that Mr. Garnier did´nt go to the WMC and insted delighted us with an AWESOME 6 hour set of nasty music with a range from funky disco to Drum n´Bass.
    One of the most inspireing sets I have ever heard, really people if you haven´t seen this guy live next time he´spinning close by you NEED to see him. A dj thats up there with your Diggers, Sashas, Coxs, DT´s (when not whining like a little girl), Warrens, Hawtins, Andy Cs...... just such an amazing dj.
    I wanted to report about this mayor event on sunday right when I got home (9am), but I was still in disbelief of what I just heard that I couldn´t write a single word...

    I´ll post some vids, the audio quallity is shit because I took them with my cell phone but you´ll still get an Idea how everybody (including me) was going total bannanas.

      Yes, Garnier played an epic 6+ hr set here too..

      it was BANANNAS!

      He played EVERYTHING! Disco, House, Drum and Bass..it was epically epic.

                      Garnier is definitely on my list of dj's to see! The style of anything goes appeals to me.

                                      Im not a fan of the 'ecletic' thing, the more the night sounds like one long record the better as far as im concerned. But everyone bangs on about this guy so much I think it has to be done. Hopefully he will be at the end again soon..

                                          He plays some brilliant sets. But he drops some reall turkeys. Like on his Moscow set. Red Astaire - Break On Through, The Doors - Soul Kitchen, The Cure - Boys Don't Cry and Nirvana - Lithium, Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead, Nanncy Sinatra - These Boots, Missy Elliott - Get Ur Freak On and New Order - Blue Monday. I think this sets would be a million times better without them.

                                              He´s mixing technic is amazing, he made some mixes were I just stood there and could´t belive my ears, I was like WTF I did´nt know you could do that!!!

                                                      that sounds like what i'd say. i appreciate that he can mix more genres than francois k, but when i goto a nightclub for some house i want to hear house for the night and not some remix of rick astley, followed by some sugarhill gang because its eclectic.
