        I would presume it's for uploading stuff to a website and the like...otherwise why the hell would you want to?

        SoundForge and related programs can typically do this...

        As for release's site, the .ram file connects to a .smil file.

              .smil is actually a XML document...but the coding is typically simplistic enough to write one (release and other sites just use a template, then change the links accordingly).

                Re: How to convert mp3s/wav -->>> real ???

                I use Winamp. http://www.winamp.com

                Open Winamp
                Go to Options -> Preferences
                On the Left side, under Plug-ins, click Output
                On the Right side, click Nullsoft Disk Writer

                This will now turn every mp3 that you play to a wav.
                You can configure where you want to save the wav file by clicking the configure button and changing the Output directory. It defaults to C:\

                To listen to music normally again, you have to go back into Output and change the plugin back to waveOut output. Hope this helps.

                  i've never used it but i've read that it can be done using this program. download the free version at the bottom.
