Not as bad as it used to be ... fortunately I've ammassed quite a few sets, so I don't search around like a desperate crack addict for new ones any more !

^Same here..I used to be a fiend..But sets and new music is so available these days, that it's hard to keep up...And I don't want to keep up..I'm enjoying music at my own pace these days, and it just the way I like it now.

IAm now operating somewhere between these two extremes. I have listened to maybe 10% of all the 250gigs of sets I have. I recently decided that I need to cut way back or just keep buying external drives. But a month or two ago, it was like crack...

I listened to several hours music each day as a little kid already. No change till then. I also prefer to call it a way of life instead of addiction. I just can't live without music but I must admit, the emotionally connecting sounds of EDM are addicting like crack.

you don't ever get tired of edm? i sure do. doens't mean i won't come begging for more eventually. you gotta mix it up every now and then. i boast a rather wholesome and diverse music collection.

I know how you feel man. There are only certain times when edm can get me going: circuit training for pace and studying and studying is usually sets that are tech-house or minimal.

For the most part I listen to old stuff I used to listen to. Cream/Hendrix/Doors, etc... to J5, A tribe called quest, etc... to Pearl Jam, 311, REM. I love music in general but not necessarily todays music. There have been only 3 bands that I've liked out of all the new bands in the past 6-8 years and they are: interpol, modest mouse, and muse.
