Laurence Fishburne! some people miss this, but he was Mr. Clean on the boat....(Swift Boat - lol). He was like a kid!
I think most people write off the movie just because of the last 30 minutes, but that is an unfair assesment.
Most people look for closure in a movie, an understanding; but when they have an ending they just don't get, a lot of them just say I wasted my time, it's not an enjoyable movie.

For me I'm really interested in many aspects of the art of cinema, like the characters and how the director develops them, the music, the way scenes are shot, etc. Sure I may not really get the ending of AN, but hey the movie as a whole is great like you said supaz about the characters.

(P.S. supaz, you must be a big movie fan? )

I would like to also suggest people check out Deerhunter. Yeah an early De Niro film. Now that's an under-rated war movie that most people don't mention or have not seen before. Sure it's 3 hours maybe a little too long, but that was so intense for me. Christopher Walken gives a bloody amazing performance.
