I agree somewhat.. I just think he is on a totally different level than most any human. Thats what makes him, well, HIM, if you know what I mean.
I absolutely know what you mean! Despite his amazing talent and status as a DJ/producer/label owner/promoter/etc., there is not a trace of ego in the man. He's one of the most humble people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Me: "Hi *-d!" Actions: smiling and laughing
DT: Response: "*-d?" Actions: blank stare and no laughing
Me: "I just wanted to let you know how much I miss you and your parties. Hopefully something will start up again soon."
DT: Actions: Another blank stare. Response: "You smell." Next action: took the portfolio he was holding and wafted the air numerous times.
Me: Actions: Turned my back and walked away thinking hey I might stink from all this sweat, but what a fucking asshole.

Re: The funniest thing happened to me at Bedrock

The only time I 'spoke' to Digweed was when he played, quite possibly, the best set I've ever heard... so I felt compelled to shake his hand (I do that sometimes). So I put forward my hand, he accepts it and leans forward for the chat he's presumably expecting - I, of course, can barely speak so I just mumble something about a "great set" and quickly skulk away before I look any more foolish.

So, he's clearly happy to talk when he hasn't got his 'member' in his hand
                      Ask me a question...

Love it ... you can blame anything on Stella.

Look on the bright side .... at least you can never be as unpopular as that bloke that recorded the Beruit set. He'll always be no. 1 on Diggers shit list !

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
