Do you seriously think he thinks stuff like 'I might slack off for the next few months, and then in 2 years time I'll hit a peak, yeah cool'. WTF? He simply plays out music that he likes.
I used to be one of his biggest fans, I was always in awe of his sets and religiously listened to the Kiss FM shows. But then his sound evolved and personally I think most of it is terrible. (It's not just him, most dj's have gone this way). I've tried to get into it, I really have, but it's just not for me. His Warehouse set from 2007 had a few good tracks in it, but I wasn't messing my pants like half of you lot over it.
Kudos to the man as his mixing is impeccable and he's done so much for the scnee, but seriously, stop wanking over him.....Comment

Dan I'm with you on this. As most people know, I openly charge that the reason why sounds have 'devolved' is the absolute shit music that's being played out, the same music that is hyped as being 'really good'. Worse, it's forgettable stuff.
And while i agree with you on the music end, digweed has managed to still be a really good entertainer (that's what dj's are imo), even with bad tracks. I would say he's the only one that can take such trash music and mix it in a way that's utterly mindblowing. OF COURSE, this is really hit or miss. (see the warehouse set).you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

to each his own... Sure he has his off days, but I'm actually thrilled he's gotten a bit techier! The beats are so much better than they used to be, yet he still hasn't lost the melodic edge. His sound on Transitions 4 is about right for me

his current sound is a large blend of tracks
many you will not hear in a live set unless he plays
at an eariler time or longer set. I thought it was rather nice to hear some transitions like material during the first hour or two during S&D set. He IS a great DJ (one of the top 10 IMO) but then there are many who are just fucking insane on this forum and would probably do anything to spend a day with the man or even shake his hand...The Idiots ARE Winning.
