                      Kamal has already banned the spam bot. We check all postings from new users to prevent spam from being posted on our board (normally you would see way more of these idiots advertising porn and meds) but we can't prevent a spambot to sign up and send personal messages sadly. If you receive spam PM's please let one of our Moderators or Kamal or myself know about it.

                          can you do anything like make ppl have 10 posts before they can pm anyone? its not like you need to pm anyone before then since you are brand new...

                                  I could but I am too lazy. I would have to create a new usergroup and a promotion in the vbulletin software so people with more than X postings are moved to the group where they receive full PM rights...if more spam bots start actions like this, I will consider to do it but as long as it is no real problem I take care not to act against the golden rule "Never touch a running system".
