Jacob Todd “Tessitura” combines syncopated rhythms and dark melodies that float along a driving bass line to create a piece of genre bending house music. Dumb Dan turns “Tessitura” into a peak-time progressive house track perfect for the main floor. Davis & May apply their unmistakable sound and turn “Tessitura” into a rich piece of tech house that drips with dark atmosphere.
Dumb Dan's remix is ace. Really funky and fun but still has that cool melancholy vibe of the original. Davis & May - really cool drums fills and edits. Wow. Original - awesome synth work. Beautiful.

The original is a slow burner with darkened melodies lurking about outstretching to grab us. Dumb Dan has turned out a straight-up dance floor number, utilizing shuffling beats and sweet, grooveacious synth lines to set the pace while Davis & May create a head turner with a truly underground take on the original, It's heavy as hell and drags out a suicidal, eerie mood .
