He was about to direct his first CG feature film too...
"The project is called Yankee Irving and it's based on the story of a young boy in the 1930's who's on a mission across the USA to deliver a Yankee jersey to one of the New York Yankee players. Visually it'll be a very lush and rich look, similar to many of the paintings by Norman Rockwell.
It's directed by Christopher Reeves (Superman), and stars John Lithgow, among others."Comment

man thats harsh.
the guy suffered but did so much for others.
its made worse by the fact i was reading somewhere they are making discoveries on ways of maybe repairing paralysis.
