    Samsung G600

    have just upgraded to this from my sony-ericsson walkman phone as i now have an ipod and whilst the 5 mega pixel camera is cool the rest of it is shite

    unable to use mp3s as ringtones, message alerts or alarms. just plain polyphonic, its like going back in the dark old days

      Why didn't you go for the SE K850? That's 5MP too. The Samsung looks sleek and chic, but not a fan of sliders myself.

          ive got 14 days to return it so im gonna have a play with updating the firmware as apparently you can do that and then it will play mp3s

              are u sure that once u update the firmware ur guaranty is not void?
              p.s. yeah I got the SE K850 its pretty good the camera is truly amazing + I prefer to use it as an mp3 player than my zen now days saves s[ace in my pocket and the sound reproduction is more than decent...

                  Yeah SE walkman phones have pretty decent sound quality. I'm using the w880i, great for nights out 'cos it's so slim. But impossible to sms when I can't see shit ... probably better off that way.
