actually im not to bad with choons, more so need artist albums, commercial mixes. even though i was in a cave, any few min i has was on beatport cause i had gigs out in boston... i was working upwards of 90 hr weeks. i would take an hour and speed through beatport, then load up my ipod with tracks to listen to at work... practice through mixing some tracks 2 hrs before the gig, and get after it. was not a fun existence... 4/5 hrs of sleep ... and trying to keep the lady happy.... whew...

thats why i wanted something i dunno, less clubby... but electronic... something like an ellen allien - berlinette

ill check out the m83 album and the fortcoming releases thread
    and dl'ing the quirky mix

i love tracks... but there is something special about a full artist album. opening a bottle of belgium beer sitting back and taking in the whole journey... love it.
whipping together a live mix does not do it as much for me... unless its really well thought out...
