    turntablism

I know some of you are aren't into this stuff at all, but i've pulled out some old shadow mixtapes, invisibl skratch piklz, dj craze, dj swamp stuff, etc... just extraordinary music to listen to. I was browzing through youtube and found this one that had me head-bobbin' all the way through the end. dope shit. I'll post some more on here if i find them worthy to check out.

C2C (french dj crew), team finals back in '06. sheer brilliance.
you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

When I used to do hip hop parties (Old school Hip Hop)...Me and my partner where really into scratching and cutting...He got really good at it..I just had fun with it and never tried to get as good as I wanted..Scratching is something that can be really amazing when done properly..These guys are pros.

Still to this day one of the sickest shows I have seen
was the X Men v. ISP's in San Fran. Pure genius how they could create entire new structures and songs then battle, integrate, and improv all at once. M.ind Altering

All in all...I think I will be going back there some time soon

        2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.

This baffles me. Totally sweet, I just wish I could understand what exactly they were doing better...all the little flicks and twists, which table is making what sound etc

^ it takes a few times to watch. Just seperate the different sounds: drums, guitar, etc....

AntonyM: here's the battle from NYC.

just fastforward it to exactly 7 minutes, right before the ISP comes on. ISP, with just three decks, destroys them without question. The 13 minutes that ISP is on, could very well be considered the *defining* moment for team turntable battles. ISP here makes C2C look like doodoo.

love it when Mixmaster Mike drops the "bitch, it's curtains" sample.

funny, was just watching this one today. I think Kentaro's style is one of the most fun to watch.

one more of Kentaro's re-enactment of his winning World DMC 2002 champion routine.

possibly one of the best ever.
