You gotta know that McCain will pick the youngest, healthiest VP he can get away with. I initially thought harping on this sort of thing was a bit of a low blow (and maybe the way it's presented here, it is -- even though it's still pretty entertaining), but I've come to learn that a lot of people view his age as a real stumbling block. I guess it's a legitimate area of inquiry, to the extent that when we elect a president, we want the person we elect to be the person that's actually in charge. -

his age is a big deal to me. not in the sense that he won't live that long, but more so that i can't relate that old geezbag, and he sure as fk isn't relating to me and what i'm about and what my interests are. i'm sure he has a "young person focus group" to see what he needs to say to get the young vote. obama just gets their vote because they're interested in him, not the other way around.Comment

he's 71. so 72 when he would go into office.
physical and cognitive issues are going to come into play for most of the 72-76 year old community (although the range of effect is large).
Look how much Bill Clinton and Tony Blair aged - as well as Bush (albeit over 8 years for those 3).
