Intelligence and Voting for Kerry Linked!

I had always thought that it would be tough to be a well-educated person and support George Bush. Turns out there is actually some empirical evidence to back that up:

According to a poll released today which found Kerry leading by 1 point, 49-48, the more educated you are, the more likely you are to vote for John Kerry.

Amongst people that had a high school education or less, the vote favored Bush 49-46%. For those folks that had some college, the race tightened to 49-48 in favor of Bush.

Amongst those that have a college degree or better, however, Kerry leads 52-45%!

I can't link to it for some reason, but the poll was conducted by the Washington Post.

Reason #4215 to vote for Kerry: avoid looking like a dumbass

This is kinda true here in the south. Dems blame it on a backlash from affirmative action but more rednecks and old folks in particular seem to be voting Bush. And don't forget about the Nascar Dads, they like Bush. There is definately a huge difference in personalities and beliefs between the Bush and Kerry supporters.

All in good fun, PM, hence the winking dude.

It is certainly ironic, however, that your post would contain a grammatical error -- the use of "your" instead of "you're." Looks like my theory is holding up...

I'll shoot a couple of holes in that Kerry gets smarter voters thinking because I've heard it before.

College graduates are obviously more educated, but does that really make them smarter? Possibly yes, but I know plenty of non college educated people doing really well owning small business that make lots more than my college educated ass.

And here's the real reason --- college kids in america are taught by these far left liberal professors in American colleges. And them being young and gullable and most not ever really having worked a day in their life believe Kerry and the liberal professor crap fed to them.

So, who's really smarter? The college grad who believes everything some liberal professor that tells them how to think or the average American who maybe has a little more of a grip on reality.
