you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

Ellen Allien, Dubfire, Stephan Bodzin Live, Heiko Laux, yeah, I'd like to catch them. I've caught Krush once, and I have a bday thing this Friday so no go. Pappa's DJ sets get a bit too hard for me sometimes, so I'm not sure. But I think Gavin Kietel is on the lineup and I really wanna catch Kietel, he was rocking Sunny after Gab and Ozzie 'retired.'

          You catching any of them?

There is also a Dubfire side show for Sydney but nothing for Melbourne.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

And I believe Bodzin is not playing We Love Sounds but a separate show on the same/next day, gonna make catching all of them harder

^^ Not a huge fan of Bodzin , not doing that one. Will be doing Pappa. He seems to put on special shows in Melbourne Gavin is great , he just keeps getting better and better. We have some great djs !! A lot of them will be playing at the launch of a new night at Brown Alley on 30th May

I really want to see Steve Lawler but I hate the idea of festivals! It looks like your taste is techier than mine.

Nah I wouldn't say my taste is techier, I'm definitely a traditional deep prog person. But prog these days has gone all wonky anyway, and tech is the only stuff that's going deeper and deeper like the good ol' prog circa 2001. And no one's playing the melodic prog stuff, so the only thing left is tech!

PS whassup with Bodzin, he's playing the same night as We Love Sounds.

I only just found out about Hybrid! Didn't see it on RA. Hybrid, Kietel, Quinn, Bonicci ... who's Deviant, the same Deviant sets that used to make the rounds in P&R?!?!

Nah it's a local. Sean Quinn is doing some great stuff at the moment. Rollin Connection are wonderful . 2 guys , one of whom did a Bsides for Chloe a while back. In fact even if Hybrid weren't there, I would go. I keep saying it , but only cos it's true, we really do have some world class Djs here. The only one I don't know is Deviant. Well I probably do, but haven't heard him play.
