This gig is kinda special:
The club is located in the Beirut central district, it's a pedestrian paved road where untill few years ago you could barely walk in it coz full of pubs and clubs firing up the crazy local partying moods and night life.
But unfortunately, for the last 2 years some people occupied the whole area (due to political issues), and the "heart" of Beirut had been literally shutdown for all those months: most businesses had to shutdown (restaurants, clubs and offices) and area only occupied by army since then.... (thats the pic)
Now since the country just got a breeze of peace and fresh air, we are in a hurry to bring back life to that unique area: "When Progressive Meets Elegance" is the first gig taking place there and I am kinda glad to be part of it: It's all about creating some positive energy (through music) in that area once again...
hope this party goes well mate!
lets see loads of pictures after.. any chance of recording the night?
Tnx Steve!
Well for the recording......I stopped trying to ask to record in clubs coz i hardly get to have a full file intact, in Europe & Middle East. So I am gona get a small digital recorder with rca and record my gigs myself... I think its the best, then I could share "complete clean live gigs".
